Sound sleep is one of the best blessings of God for the mental and physical health of an individual. It helps us to calm our minds and relax our bodies. It makes an individual feel fresh and healthy as it delights the mood and focuses the mind.

But nowadays due to hectic schedules, people neglect their sleeping hours. According to research, it has been found that adult requires 8 to 9 sleeping hours for their efficient working. But due to the hustle-bustle of life, these eight hours are shortened to six hours or even less than six which causes severe dysfunction of the whole body.

In today’s life sleep disorders are common issues to concern. Every next person is a sufferer of Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, Restless, Legs Syndrome, Circadian Rhythm Disorder, Narcolepsy, Parasomnias, and Sleep Paralysis.

During sleep, our body releases two hormones: Ghrelin and leptin. Ghrelin is responsible for hunger as it increases the appetite of an individual and leptin decreases the appetite level of an individual and person feels full. Due to asleep and sleep disorders, our bodies release more ghrelin and less leptin due to which person feel hungry. He/she overeats which increases calories and people become overweight.
