The Missing Corporate Leader

Business Press Release
The Missing Corporate Leader

GDP, Unemployment and Quarantine – the list of buzzwords in the crisis are endless.

9 months have flown anything but like a breeze for India Inc.

Despite all the noise, there seems to be need to address corporate India’s chronic gender diversity problems. Gender equity in top management to be precise.

Although women representation at the top of the corporate food-chain has seen positive incline, the rise has been minimal.

While a rise from 24% to 29% (from 2018 to 2019) maybe a record high of women in senior management, there is still a long way to go to enable gender equity throughout business hierarchies.

The report also suggests that although women excel in C-suite roles in departments like HR and finance, work needs to be done in other avenues to improve inclusivity taking meritocracy into consideration.

At the PWR Summit we will be discussing how enterprises can scale these hurdles and enable holistic growth and cultural shift to align with gender parity.

Headline Speakers in attendance include Sunita Mohanty, Director-Trust & Safety, Google; Anjali Singh, MD, Deutsche Bank; Harriet Green, D&I Activist, Former Chairman & CEO, IBM Asia-Pacific and many more thought-leaders at the initiative.

Join 500+ Women Business leaders, D&I heads and CXO’s at the Powering Women Resources Summit on December 4, 2020.
